"Hey there cutie. I’m Cindy. Wanna be my boyfriend?"
Cindy

Cindy is a supporting character in all three Kindergarten games.

Appearance[]

Cindy has light skin and blonde hair that's up in pigtails. In Kindergarten, she has a checkered shirt that's light pink on dark pink. She also wears a lighter, almost pale pink skirt. In Kindergarten 2, Cindy got a visual upgrade; her shirt appears more magenta and her pigtails are larger and more detailed, and her bangs are now swooped to the side than being a middle part. Cindy's model remains the same in Kindergarten 3, though her outfit changes. She's now wearing what appears to be hot pink overalls with a darker pink shirt underneath. She also goes back to having a middle part. Her light pink skirt stays consistent through all three games.

Information[]

Cindy is a mean girl that views other girls as competition and genuinely considers herself to be the smartest, nicest, and prettiest girl ever. She thrives on attention, which she derives from dating boys and bullying other girls. She possesses a bossy and stuck-up personality, and expects to get what she wants from others around her. In Garden of Emmy, Cindy gets offended when Emmy stops reacting to her torments. When suggested that it's because shes tired of her, Cindy gets distressed, as she can't handle the idea of anyone being tired of her. She greatly values her appearance, getting upset when her hair is ruined during the food fight and not wanting to partake in gym class solely because of the mandatory gym outfits. Despite being so little, she knows a lot about topics that no child her age should know about, such as rape accusations, domestic abuse, and alcoholism. This is very likely due to mimicking behaviors she sees at home.

She enjoys tormenting the girls in her grade, likely viewing them as competition. She loves sticking gum in girl's hair, though she always makes a boy do it for her. She loves seeing other girls cry, and gets disappointed if they don't react much to her bullying. She knows she's mean, and feels little to no remorse for it. Cindy doesn't try to cause confrontations, though if prompted, she will follow through with an arugment. Such is clear when her and Alice fight about who gets to play with the dollhouse during morning time; the argument escalates until Cindy proves willing to get physical, in which Alice tries to deescalate, to no avail.

Cindy claims to be vegan, but she does not know what this means. She doesn't like vegetables, getting disgusted at seeing Emmy's garden, even claiming it's "not vegan" to grow vegetables. When she asks for a vegan meal and gets a salad, she gets dejected, clearly not liking it.

Despite claiming to be the smartest girl that the Protagonist knows, Cindy does not know how to read and write.

Deaths[]

Kindergarten[]

  • Hit by a car if the Protagonist pours the bucket of blood on her instead of Lily during her mission.
  • Killed by the Principal if the voice recorder is brought to the principal's office while the Protagonist and Cindy are sent there.
  • Simply by being vanished in the Talisman Run.

Kindergarten 2[]

  • In The Hitman's Potty Guard, she will put a fork into an electrical socket to cause a distraction. Her outfit can be collected afterwards.
  • If the Protagonist asks for Cindy's help in disabling the listening device in Things That Go Boom, Cindy puts the listening device into the electrical socket.
  • While not a death, the Protagonist can burn her eyes by spraying her in the face twice when playing house with her in Opposites Attract.
  • Simply by her vanishing in the Secret Ending.

Kindergarten 3[]

  • She can die at anytime if she wields the blue flowers without them being washed or having the nurse help her.
  • In The Show Must Go On, She gets crushed by the dollhouse while she plays as Dorothy Gale.
  • In Garden of Emmy, she dies by being torn apart and being used as fertilizer for the carnivorous plants.
  • In Paging Dr. Goolittle, the self-destruction of Beep-Boop kills everyone in the classroom.
  • She dies in the true ending after mocking Emmy about her plants being crushed by meteors by karma with a meteor.

Trivia[]

  • In the 1.0 version of Kindergarten, when playing house with Cindy there used to be an option to "abort" the baby at the end using a pill. This was changed in the 2.0 update to put it up for adoption, and the pill can be used to help Cindy's headache from the paperwork.
  • In the first version of Kindergarten, Nugget claims that Cindy has had 7 boyfriends in the past week, despite it only being Monday. However, in the current version of the game, this dialogue was changed into Nugget claiming Cindy's had 7 boyfriends in the past month.
  • Cindy's character design may be based on Sue Snell, even though she never feels remorse for her actions towards Lily.
    • Cindy can also be compared to Angelica Pickles from the Rugrats franchise as both characters are young bratty blonde haired girls who often pick on others and attempt to get things they want.
  • It's possible that Cindy may be a developing sociopath since she has many traits:
    • False grandeur (Sees herself as the "smartest, prettiest and nicest girl", despite at least one of these things not being true)
    • Impulsiveness (Immediately assumes that the Protagonist killed her Dog if he presents it)
    • Lack of guilt or shame (Feels no shame for killing the Protagonist or torturing Lily)
    • Strong need for stimulation (Constantly harassing Lily)
    • Criminal versatility (Telling Nugget to keep quiet after Lily commits suicide)
    • Pathological liar (Lies about being raped so she can get the Protagonist in trouble)
  • Continuity error: Despite Kindergarten 2 taking place after Lily's mission where Cindy and the Protagonist don't get together, the Protagonist claims they were together yesterday and Cindy says they're "yesterday's news".
  • Ms. Applegate despises Cindy and she will be happy with you getting her killed.
  • She somehow has the number of the Janitor in Kindergarten 2.
  • Her father has a liquor cabinet that she somehow has access to, and she gives the Janitor some to keep her on his good side.
    • Her father is also on probation, stated by her when the teacher asked all of the girls if they wanted to play Juliet for Nugget as the Romeo.
  • Her grandma was eaten by wolves.
    • Her grandma also cut her out of the will, so she hates her.
  • She is confirmed to be less than 6 years old.
