Locations[]
First Floor[]
"Dumb" Class/Study Hall[]
The "dumb" class is where all the "dumb" children go for Morning Time; Cindy, Buggs, Nugget, Ted, and Ozzy. By default, the player is sent here, but can earn his way to the "Smart Class" by completing the Flowers for Diana mission and bringing the A+ to school. This classroom features cubbies and a toy box and is taught by Ms. Applegate, who, due to her withdrawal, tells her students to simply play and leave her alone.
This classroom is also the location of Study Hall. Those who violate school rules during Morning Time or are caught with contraband are sent here instead of recess. By default, Buggs will always be located here during recess. Run by Dr. Danner, any students in Study Hall are forbidden from speaking or moving, and any student who does so will be killed. The only way out is by eating apples.
Gym Class[]
If the player is in the playground when recess ends, the player has the choice to pay the $3.00 lab fee to go to science class. Those who do not pay go to gym class instead. This class is also taught by Ms. Applegate, who tells the students to play with the basketball or dodgeball.
Boy's Bathroom[]
The Boy's Bathroom is one of the two bathrooms located at the school. It features urinals and stalls. The Janitor is usually seen here during Morning Time. The Hall Monitor is in here during Recess, smoking a cigarette. In some routes, Dr. Danner will be in here after the first apple is spent.
Weapons Closet[]
The Janitor's Closet, known by The Janitor by the weapons closet, is located in the boy's bathroom. This area is almost always locked; to access this room, the player must receive the key during certain quests. It contains tools like shovels, to weapons like axes and chainsaws. This room also contains a vat filled with a mysterious green substance that goes into the kitchen. Spending 2 apples in this room will kill the player, due to it being filled with a mysterious gas.
Cafeteria[]
The Cafeteria is the location where Lunch occurs. The food served is always burgers. In order to be allowed to leave the lunchroom, the player must purchase one burger and have a passbook, which will then be marked by the lunch lady, Ms. Margaret. You can also ask Carla for assistance to get you out of the room for a fee.
Teachers' Lounge[]
The Teachers' Lounge is a location found in the cafeteria. To enter the room, the player must use the door near the left side of the cafeteria. During lunch hours, the door is guarded by Stevie and Dr. Danner is inside. This room contains a microwave for Nuggets, a vending machine containing two kinds of soda, and a vase that contains a flower for the Flowers for Diana mission.
Playground[]
The Playground is a location that can be accessed by using the door to the left of the cafeteria. Those who have not been caught violating school rules will be taken to the Playground for Recess. This area contains a beehive, a climbing wall, a swingset and a sandbox, where Nugget usually digs his Nugget Cave. Recess is supervised by Ms. Applegate.
Second Floor[]
Hallway[]
The second floor has a hallway. In contrast to the first floor hallway, this hallway has a vending machine where one can buy a passbook or a pair of scissors. It also has four lockers (ordered left to right); Monty's (green), Ozzy's (orange), Penny's (blue) and presumably Carla's (white), despite it never being used ingame. This hallway has doors to the girls' bathroom and science class.
Smart Class/Science Class[]
The smart class is reserved for gifted students; Jerome, Monty, Felix, Carla and Penny, and is taught by Dr. Danner. In order to be allowed in the smart class for Morning Time, the player must earn an A+ from the Flowers for Diana quest. The class would consist of the player using a computer to complete a daily assessment.
After lunch, those who choose to pay the $3.00 lab fee can go to science instead of gym. By default, the science class will be on plants, where the player is instructed to observe an ordinary plant. However, the lesson plan can be changed to chemistry, robotics or magnets by interacting with the book on the right side of the room during recess.
Girl's Bathroom[]
The girls' bathroom is the one of the two bathrooms in the game. In contrast to the boys' bathroom, there is a couch in the girls' bathroom, giving a Monstermon card. It also contains a vent, which, if the player owns a screwdriver, can be used to access the science classroom.
Other[]
Handicap Area[]
There is a handicap ramp on the right side of the school. Bob watches this area and only allows those with disabilities to enter the area. The only way a player can access the area is by talking to Monty and asking him to tell Bob that they were pushing him up the ramp. This area contains a Blue Flower and the ramp that leads to the downstairs hallway.
Back[]
By using the gate at the back of the playground, the player can access the back of the school. This area contains a green flower for the Flowers for Diana quest and a dumpster. Agnes lives in the dumpster. The player could give her a burger and receive either Smoky or a passbook in exchange, as well as the box of nuggets or vegan meal for Tenders or Gravy respectively.
Principal's Office[]
This area is located near the dumpster. The door to this room is almost always locked, and the only known way to get in is to receive a lunch pass from the Principal at the schoolyard. The player could then access the principal's office during lunchtime.
Sewer[]
The sewer can be accessed through the sewer grate at the front of the school. However, the grate cannot be opened by the player; the area can only be accessed either through certain missions or with the use of the school's elevator. This area is the hiding place of Billy and Lily, and the next room has a Brown Monster and another elevator, which is protected with a retinal scanner.
Secret Lab[]
This area can only be accessed through the Creature Feature mission. Through the storyline, the player uses Penny to access the aforementioned elevator and reach the secret lab. The secret lab has a glass cage that can hold children. This area also has a pool filled with the mysterious green goo from the weapons closet.
Missions[]
There are nine missions in Kindergarten 2, an alternate ending to one, and a secret ending. Most missions in this game have one or two characters who are the most important people to look for in that mission.
- A Tale of Two Janitors (The Janitor and Bob)
- Flowers for Diana (Dr. Danner and Cindy)
- The Hitman's Potty Guard (Ted and Ozzy)
- Cain's not able (Felix/Ted)
- Opposites Attract (Buggs and Penny)
- If you can Dodge a Nugget (Nugget)
- Things That Go Boom (Carla and Jerome)
- Breaking Sad (Ms. Applegate and Monty)
- Creature Feature (Lily and Billy)
- Secret Ending (Nugget)
Trivia[]
- In the Kindergarten 2 trailer, when Ozzy chokes the Protagonist, there is voice acting.
- It is unknown if the game originally was gonna have voice acting for the deaths.
- If Ted is shown the contract during Morning Time, he becomes the main focus rather than Felix, being the only character to give a Monstermon Card at the end of multiple endings.
